Trauma Counsellor

Talk Now Sessional Trauma Counsellor.

Talk Now is a trauma informed organisation located in East Kilbride. We offer counselling to adults who have suffered trauma in childhood. Counselling is currently delivered online but will transition to face to face counselling once it is safe to do so.

We are looking for qualified counsellors who

Specialise in trauma to join our team. Applicants should have a diploma in counselling, have a track record of trauma training and at least 3 years experience working with clients who have suffered trauma in childhood including sexual, domestic, physical, and emotional abuse. Applicants should be committed to personal and professional development. We are especially interested in counsellors qualified in EMDR although this is not essential. Applicants must have a specialised knowledge of the impact of trauma be able to demonstrate their skills during the interview by speaking about how trauma can affect a persons life.

Please ensure your CV includes at least two references with contact details. One reference should be a recent employer. We will only contact references if successful at interview.
