**Multi-Trades Person / Maintenance Person**

Following substantial investment by leading global construction firm, GS Engineering & Construction (GS E&C), Elements Europe have a number of large projects in the pipeline and are looking to scale up the delivery capability with immediate effect.

**The Role**:
We are currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Operative to join the Elements Europe Team at our head office in Telford. Offering full time permanent contract you will be supporting the whole business with their daily factory/tools maintenance needs. Please note this will be a 50/50 split role meaning you will be required to fix power tools as well as be responsible for general factory maintenance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Undertake maintenance of specific items of equipment, maintaining records in accordance with company guidelines
- Undertake basic electrical checks on all equipment, i.e. ensuring that all plugs and cable equipment are visually checked for signs of damage, labelling is legible and correct. Any faults are reported to your line manager.
- Plumbing maintenance to include but not limited to - unblocking drains & toilets or replacing taps etc.
- Must be able to PAT test power tools
- Any other reasonable requests asked by your line manager
- You will be responsible for checking working at height equipment mobile access towers etc.
- Pasma trained is preferred but not essential as training will be provide

**Essential skills**:

- Previous experience doing general factory/property maintenance
- Previous experience fixing power tools
- Good problem-solving skills
- Excellent communicator
- Must be confident on a computer
- Using own initiative and be able to work your own as well as a team

**Salary negotiable depending on experience**
