The role will report directly to the Chief Legal Officer and be the global business Legal lead for all matters relating to Tech & Digital. You will be the global primary advisor to the Technology (encompassing Product, Engineering, Data Science and Transformational Outsourcing) and Digital Teams delivering to the business the very highest standards of legal advice and regulatory compliance whilst supporting the business with its international growth. The business is also an avid player in the Metaverse and Web3/Web5 and you will be actively involved in provided advise on industry leading AI and Metaverse projects.

You must possess extensive experience working within or advising on the technology/IT sector, including drafting, negotiating, and advising on issues related to outsourcing, licensing, hosting, software development and other third-party engagements. Experience in advising on metaverse, blockchains, crypto and AI would also be highly desirable.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent knowledge of technology/IT/ digital legal space.
- Extensive experience drafting and negotiating master service outsource agreements, technology and content acquisition, licensing agreements and ability to run with these autonomously.
- Knowledge of the digital space, the metaverse, AI, blockchain technologies and Web3.
- Ability to quickly grasp and commercially explain complex technology and legal matters and to build strong relationships with key stakeholders in the business.
- 9+ years post qualification experience in Tech/IT/Digital Legal space.
- Attention to detail is critical.
- Highly effective communicator at all levels.
- In-house experience is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral, ability to communicate with global business partners in different time zones and with countries where English is often not the first language.
- Solid training and qualification from a leading City or national law firm
