Electrotaping Technician

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Electrotaping Technician that is looking to join a family-run decorative metal plating service.

As an Electrotaping Technician you will be working on parts for luxury first class suites of airlines, automotive brands and super yachts. You will be working in a busy plating and jigging department to ensure that deadlines are met, and the work is completedto the best standard possible.

This company are looking for somone with previous warehouse experience and will create a bespoke training plan to your skillset and needs and under the tutelage of our staff we will help you flourish in this specialist highly sought-after industry.

As an Electrotaping Technician will need to:

- Wire the metal parts on to jigs so that the product can be lowered into the plating tanks.
- Be responsible for transforming aluminium, brass or steel components to Gold, Silver, Rhodium and many other exclusive finishes.
- Once plated, you will then be involved in cleaning the product prior to the final polish and lacquer.
- You will look over your work for defects, before passing it on to the dedicated inspection department for checking.
