Position available:

- Freelance Prop Maker

Short term contract - 1-3 months - 40 hours per week, negotiable.

Start date - January 2023

Rate - dependant on experience.

Location - remote work, in company training.

Costumes with Character is one of the world’s leading Mascot and Costume Character Manufacturers, creating bespoke characters for a wide variety of clients from all sectors including leisure, entertainment, sports, education, corporate, charities and many more across the globe.

The Freelance Prop Maker’s duties will include:

- Creating character heads and props which are an accurate representation of the design alongside being comfortable to wear, with good vision and ventilation.
- Working to a high standard and within given timeframes using a range of tools and materials. Plastazote, ABS vac formed plastics, glues, foams, faux fur, Lycra etc.
- Working closely with the whole creative team to achieve a quality product.
- Cutting and sewing skills would be an advantage but not essential.**The interview will require a short workshop skills test.**

**Salary**: £12.00-£14.00 per hour
