**Job role
**2M are looking to recruit a Group IMS Coordinator (Internal Management System) to join our Compliance Team. Your
focus will be supporting the Group IMS Manager to drive the continuous improvement within the 2M Group. The
business. You will need to be flexible in your approach and be able to manage multiple tasks throughout the business.
- Liaise with the Group Head of Health & Safety Compliance with regards to local SHEQ activities.
- Monitor the activities of and follow up with the relevant Business Director or Sales Equivalent, Site Manager or

Process Owner to ensure timely completion of corrective actions identified from the audit findings and identify
corresponding preventive actions.
- Manage the Group IMS Register & Document control.
- Monitor compliance to applicable Standards or other Certifications, existing policies, and procedures of the company,

through internal auditing this will include travel to other 2M sites. (Runcorn, Liverpool, Leicester, Middlesbrough,
Milton Keynes)
- Provide support to the Group IMS Manager with the preparation of the Group Management Review.
- Offer Support to 2M sites during the certification process and when there is an extension to scope.
- Support other members of the Compliance team upon request.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Act as 2M House Compliance SHEQ and ensure that 2M House meets its Legal compliance obligations.
- Liaise with the Group Head of Health & Safety Compliance with regards to local SHEQ activities.
- Promote 2M’s H&S Culture through promotion of hazard sport reporting.
- Ensure that hazard spots, accidents and incidents are reported and investigated and closed in the My Compliance

system.
- Chair H&S Committee meetings and ensuring that actions arising are closed in a timely manner.
- Support the Group IMS Manager with projects /initiatives, e.g., the Implementation of the Document Module

(QPULSE)
- Create, review, update and communicate Group Procedures and Management Documents.
- Monitor compliance to IMS KPIs, assist in the preparation of Quarterly IMS Reporting, take an active role in the

preparation and during quarterly and attend IMS review meetings with Business Directors.
- Provide support to the Group IMS Manager with the preparation of the Group Management Review.
- Deputise for the Group IMS Manager during periods of absence.

**Skills, Qualifications & Experience**

**Essential ** Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written communication skills.

Confident/persuasive verbal skills and able to
communicate with all areas of the business.
- Experience in internal auditing
- A self-starter with a strong multi-tasking ability.
- Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Comfortable working in an unstructured environment

which values initiative, creativity, maturity, poise, and
strong analytical skills

**Desirable**
- Experience working at a chemicals company or a

chemicals distribution company.
- Knowledge of using Q-Pulse database or similar

packages
- Awareness of Integrated Management System

(IMS) policies and procedures, specifically as
applied to following standards: ISO 9001, ISO
14001, ISO 45001 (current versions)
- Familiarity with BSI or similar accreditation body
