Perishables Supervisor(Import

Freightserve are looking to recruit a Senior Perishable Operator for a large Heathrow based Freight Forwarder. The company are based in the Colnbrook, Berkshire area.

Job Role:

- Senior Perishables Operator - Air Import & Export is responsible for the arranging and receiving of all import / export consignments on behalf of both internal and external customers in the most efficient and cost effective manner whilst achieving the required service levels. Dealing with all documentation and liaising with Partners and our customers and responsible for providing excellent customer service. The Senior Perishables Operator is also responsible for communicating with all internal functions.

**Duties**:

- Delivers a quality customer/client service
- Identifies potential for new business development (where appropriate)
- Dealing with internal and external customers on a day to day basis.
- Developing effective relationships and negotiating with carriers and overseas agents
- Pre-booking identification with Support/Guidance of UK Head of Airfreight - Perishable Logistics.
- Entering HM Customs entry procedures (NES) and ensure MUCR’s are closed prior to delivery.
- Ensuring accurate data is processed such as billing and operational functions.
- Supporting the Sales/Product team with the most efficient and cost effective way of transporting goods.
- Cost reconciliation.
- Accruals and cost accuracy.
- Accuracy and timelines of documentation (AWB/DUCR/MUCR) processing meets KPI requirements.
- To monitor all Accounts with the customer service team to ensure low and nil spend customers are immediately identified and relevant follow up action is taken.
- Liaise with all new and regular customers on all queries and issues through regular contact by telephone.
- Process collection and delivery notes and pass to transport.
- Organise customs clearance.
- Advise of delivery dates according to lead times.

**Salary**: £38,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
