**Job Introduction**:
The Social Media team plays a vital role at the heart of TBI’s Global Communications team, interacting with key audiences and strengthening relationships with the brand by communicating our impact and values. The Social Media Executive is responsible for delivering the Institute’s social media content, covering a number of themes that are central to the Institute’s mission including politics and government, public services, climate and energy, technology, geopolitics and security and economic security.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Strategise and deliver daily social media content for the Institute’s channels, through management of the content calendar.
- Deliver regular channel reporting and use data insights to improve approaches and tailor messaging and formats
- Manage the Institute’s social media communities, regularly engaging with audiences and facilitating positive brand interactions
- Work closely with colleagues across the Institute to communicate the work, impact and values of the organisation, in line with strategic communications objectives
- Brief in and collaborate on bespoke video and visual content to Design and Video Production teams, following social media best practice
- Devise and manage paid media campaigns on key channels to prioritise audience growth
- Ensure that the Institute is well-equipped to shape social media debate on key issues relating to the organisation’s focus
- Advise colleagues on best practice and approaches to social media content and profile building

**Person Specification**:

- Professional experience in a similar role
- A passion for social media and willingness to share and adopt emerging trends
- Confident with social media reporting and audience listening tools
- Experience within a fast-paced, high profile communications or political environment is desirable
- Excellent copywriting, communication and organisation skills with a proven high level of attention to detail
- Demonstrates a pragmatic approach to development of campaigns and strategy
- The ability and willingness to be responsive at peak times, outside of standard office hours
