**Job Description**:
As an HGV Driver at NewCold on a casual basis, you will play a crucial role in our operations driving when required. If you are a skilled HGV Driver looking for a rewarding career, read on

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure all daily checks are undertaken in line with company standards and legislative requirements reporting any defects correctly.
- Complete all necessary paperwork on time and in full.
- Ensure all deliveries/collections are loaded correctly at temp and secure before leaving depots.
- Partake in pre & debrief process ensuring traffic office appraised of any required info regarding delays or accidents/incidents.
- Drive vehicles in a safe and legal manner respecting other road users and protecting the reputation of the company.
- Ensure safe delivery & collection of goods minimizing risk to self, colleague & public by following company processes.
- Observe Company rules, procedures, and policies at all times.
- Ensure that the work environment -units and trailers-are kept in a clean and tidy condition at all times.7
- Download tacho card in line with company requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Valid HGV Class C + E license.
- Driver CPC qualification (or willingness to obtain, with our support)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work overtime when needed.
- Clean driving record and commitment to safety.
