Counter Salesperson

Due to increase in business, North Yorkshire Timber, part of National Timber Group are looking to recruit a Counter Salesperson to join the team at their branch at 103 Tynemouth Road, North Shields, NE30 1ED.

**Duties will include**:

- Serving customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Processing orders accurately
- Use of Bistrak Software
- Encouraging additional sales
- Answer telephone queries
- Checking goods in and putting stock away
- Keeping the Branch clean and tidy
- Handling payments
- After training, potential use of forklift truck and woodworking machinery to product customer orders
**Hours, salary and benefits**:

- This is a full-time role working Monday - Friday 7.30am to 5.00pm and 1 in 2 Saturday mornings 8.00am to 12.00pm
