**Electrical Estimator**
Vickerstock are working in partnership with a well-established Mechanical and Electrical company based in Mallusk, on the recruitment of an Electrical Estimator. This contractor operates throughout Northern Ireland and UK across sectors such as Facilities Management, Commercial and Public schemes. They have a renowned reputation from demonstrating their ability to successfully deliver complex contracts for their clients.
Due to continued success and ongoing market demand, they require an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their team to continue further development and growth.
**Your new role as an Electrical Estimator**
Reporting to the Head of Estimating, you will assist the team through your ability to read and analyse technical Electrical drawings to produce take offs, compile tender enquiry packs to send out to sub-contractors.
Possess strong communication skills to liaise and negotiate with Sub-contractors and suppliers, ability to produce Value Engineering options if required, prepare detailed Bill Of Quantities along with tender package information, ensuring quotes are competitive and compliant as well as managing Tenders to make sure all are submitted in a timely manner, identifying any potential risks.
**What you will need to succeed as an Electrical Estimator**
- + 3 years' experience in a similar role working on Commercial contracts particularly NEC types of contracts.
- Possess an HND or have relevant industry experience.
- Experience working solely on projects between 500K - 1million
**Desirable (don't worry if you don't have this experience)**
- Experience using Amtech would be advantageous
