An established organisation is seeking an experienced Ward Clerk to join its team based near the lovely seaside town of Porthmadog. If you are organised, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and love dealing with people then this is a great opportunity to develop your skills and experiences within the medical industry.
As a Ward Clerk you will be responsible for:
- Receiving and responding to enquiries and referring to the appropriate department.
- Dealing with enquiries from patients and colleagues in a friendly and courteous manner
- Processing forms and inputting data onto in house systems
- General office/administration including making appointments
- Dealing with highly sensitive documents in a confidential manner
We are keen to see your CV if you have the following skills or experience:
- Previous experience within a clerical/administration role, preferably within the NHS or a medical setting
- A compassionate and empathetic nature
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle themselves well in stressful situations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong IT and organisational skills
- Welsh speaking is desirable but not essential
