Sandham Gardens in Sandown are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and motivated individual to join our team.

- The role o_f site supervisor at Sandham Gardens is an extremely varied role where we need the individual to be comfortable and experienced in customer facing roles, as well as have experience and skills in administration and office tasks.

An adaptable and flexible approach to working hours is essential.

Responsibilities:

- Demonstrating to the team that the customer is the main focus at all times, anticipating their needs and exceeding their expectations in all circumstances
- Directly responsible for all site hourly/seasonal staff
- Duty manager role
- Opening and closing of site/attractions (closing and cash up of individual kiosks/attractions and overall site close)
- To ensure the attractions and general site/gardens are maintained to a high standard
- To greet customers warmly and assist where possible.
- Operations-serving customers, operating attractions
- To serve customers in a polite manner and promote offers
- To assist in deliveries of Food/Drinks stock and ensure rotation and delivery check sheets have been completed.
- To use the Kiosk tills within Company procedures
- Responsible for ensuring all attraction checks and records are completed and documented in accordance with the ride operating procedures.This includes but is not limited to: Daily checks, Weekly checks, monthly checks, operator sign on/off sheet.
- The correct operation of the rides/attractions and to conform to the correct operational procedures.
- The safety and welfare of customers in your care.
- Confidence and politeness in a customer facing environment
- Previous experience within the leisure or tourism industry.
- A drive and passion for the holiday/tourist industry and customer service.
- Demonstrate an ability to manage and motivate a dedicated team to deliver our core values
- Adaptability is key as the role has a wide range of responsibilities.

- Some experience of managing a team at a supervisory level (preferred, not essential)
- Balanced strengths in customer service and operational excellence
- Confidence using the Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to handle HR issues in line with company policy
- You’ll be hands on with a ‘can do’ attitude as you’ll be expected to lead from the front.
- Be personable, confident, and able to build relationships with everyone.
- Have great communication and organisational skills.
- Experience in a customer facing role and in administration, including multi-tasking.
- Be proactive, organised, and able to work on their own initiative.
- Be a team player and able to work with other departments across the business.
- Able to work to deadlines.
- Be flexible as the working pattern will include weekends and bank holidays.
- Reliable attitude to work.
- Confident when dealing with all types of people on a daily basis.
- Strong organisational skills, be able to prioritize time for daily/weekly workload.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to multitask and work well on initiative.
- Cash handling and or financial/accounting experience

You must:

- Have the right to work in the UK
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be willing to obtain a valid DBS check

**Salary**: Up to £12.40 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Till operation: 1 year (preferred)
- Supervising: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)

Work Location: In person
