Main Duties and Responsibilities Communications and Relationship skills Maintain the confidentiality of information about patients, staff and other health service business in accordance with Trust Policy. Provide effective communication and to support and facilitate all types of meetings which have relevance to the operation of the department To aid Hospital staff, visitors and patients when faced with difficult situations caused by third parties, following Trust policies and procedures. To be able to communicate sensitive issues when dealing with the deceased family using tact and respect. Guide and direct visitors and deal with telephone calls in a helpful and friendly manner, taking written notes of any relevant information To investigate and resolve complaints speedily and effectively, keeping a positive image of the department even when feedback is less than positive.
