As a Commercial Housekeeper you will be a member of the House of St John's Team, undertaking cleaning and laundry tasks for our luxury workspace.

As a high-end housekeeper in our luxury co-working, meeting, and event space, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will contribute to creating an impeccable environment for our clients and guests. This position requires a professional and discreet approach, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced upscale setting.

You will be expected to work flexibly as directed by the Head of House within the boundaries of early morning or evening shifts; some weekend work may be required.

The House is a large space that requires a lot of energy to maintain the high standards expected of our clients.

What will I be responsible and accountable for?
- Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained and adherence to Health and Safety regulations.
- Meticulous attention to detail relating to the cleaning and tidying of the House of St John's.
- Execute deep cleaning tasks on a scheduled basis to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness.
- Vacuum cleaning, sweeping, mopping, polishing, dusting, and where necessary the use of powered equipment e.g., vacuum cleaners, carpet/upholstery shampoo machines, floor polishers, washing machines and tumble dryers, etc.
- Clearing down and dishwashing of any crockery or utensils used in the space. Ensuring stock of said items are replenished and that any breakages are reported.
- Responsible for the collection and removal of rubbish, emptying litter bins and managing recycling.
- Ensuring the cleaning and drying of the towel stock required for the shower areas.
- Prepare meeting rooms and event spaces as required, according to set standards before scheduled activities.
- Assist with event set-up and breakdown as required, ensuring spaces are immaculate before and after each function.
- Notify the Head of House of any damages or issues.
- Check stock levels of all products and equipment, maintain good stock rotation when storing and replacing when appropriate. Liaise with HOSJ team.
- Accurate record keeping.
- Providing cover during periods of absence by other team members.
- Support the HOSJ team to continually develop and expand the service.
- Establish and maintain trust and confidence of the individuals who use the service and their representatives.

**Other duties**
- Establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with all work colleagues.
- Adhere to St John’s policies and procedures and comply with Health and Safety regulations.
- Attend training courses and team meetings as required.
- Undertake any other duties, appropriate to the post, as required or directed by the HOSJ team.

**Job Requirements**

**Knowledge, Skills, and Experience**
- Relevant commercial or residential cleaning experience (other than personal) is desirable

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £13.65-£13.70 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
