**Job Details**:
**Location**: Contracted to work at Eastern Police Investigation Centre Portsmouth, but will be responsible for line managing staff working across multiple locations and will therefore be required to travel to other locations within Hampshire & the Isle of Wight.

**Salary**: SO1, £30,420 - £32,394 per annum (12.5% shift allowance plus an additional 20.10hrs per month weekend enhancement). Mileage will also be paid for travel to locations other than your contracted place of work.

**Hours**: 37 hours per week

**Contract**: Full-time and permanent. _The predicted start date for this role is April 2024._

**Please note that the interviews for the role are expected to take place on 14th / 15th March and will be conducted in person at Eastern Police Investigation Centre Portsmouth.**

Currently located in 15 police stations across the County, the Front Counters team are dedicated to providing the best possible service to the public and internal stakeholders.

The PCEO Supervisor is responsible for the day to day running of all Front Counters.

You will have line management responsibilities for PCEO’s based out of the Eastern Stations and when you are the Duty Supervisor, you will have responsibility for all PCEO’s who are on duty throughout Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. You will ensure that a high level of public service is maintained, through regular contact with the team.
- Is qualified to QCF Level 3 or has comparable work experience.
- Has proven experience of supervising staff, including welfare, attendance and performance management.
- Has a full UK driving license _(please note that you will need access to your own vehicle with business insurance as pool cars will not be available for the required travel between different locations)_.
- Has proven experience of working in a customer / public service environment.
- Can manage and implement change.
- Can provide advice and guidance to support the resolution of sensitive and complex issues.
- Has knowledge of Windows based Microsoft software and can confidently use IT equipment.
