Kitchen Porter/assistant

Season Catering is looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our team.

The Kitchen Porter is responsible for ensuring the kitchen operates in an efficient and profitable manner. This position will assist the Kitchen Manager in managing tasks and projects within the kitchen.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in coordinating food preparation and service with other kitchen staff
- Prepare food to the plate with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
- Put orders away tidily
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including all kitchen equipment and utensils
- Restock all food and beverage products as needed
- Comply with all safety and sanitation standards
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager

**Skills**
- Work experience in related field, such as food service or retail is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills to calculate portions
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-30 per week

**Salary**: £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
