We are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join a long-established and growing Microsoft silver certified IT-managed service provider. Our core business is installing/maintaining IT systems and networks for business and school customers andthis role is based in Wakefield/Pontefract.

You will work alongside our existing team of 10 engineers and provide first and second-line onsite desktop, server and infrastructure support to schools around the Wakefield area. You will be site based and be allocated specific sites to work with on a weeklybasis. You will be sometimes expected to travel between sites within the local area so your own transport is essential (mileage is claimable).

You should have the ability to work well on your own and also as part of a team. You need to be punctual, able to meet deadlines and have excellent customer service skills.

Key Skills and Experience:
Excellent understanding of Windows 10/11
Working knowledge of Windows Server 2016, 2019 & 2021
Support users on MS Office 2016, 2019 & Office 365
Understanding of Active Directory
Experience of PC Imaging
- Microsoft WDS & MDT
Installation and configuration of software
Experience of Hyper-V, Veeam is also an advantage
Troubleshoot and resolve printing problems
Excellent communication with third-party providers and end-users
Find solutions to problems and have a hands-on approach to support activities
A positive outlook and a "can do attitude"
A minimum of 2 years of previous experience in a similar IT role is essential.
