Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Assemble and install steel girders, columns, and other construction materials
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of a structure
- Operate power tools such as drills, grinders, and saws
- Perform welding tasks including stick welding
- Utilise mechanical knowledge to fabricate and weld metal components
- Conduct basic mathematical calculations for measurements
- Use hand tools to cut, shape, and fit metal components

**Experience**:

- CSCS card mandatory and IPAF 3a 3b an distinct advantage
- Proven experience as a steel erector or similar role
- Skilful in using power tools and welding equipment
- Knowledge of stick welding techniques
- Mechanical aptitude to understand and work with various machinery
- Ability to fabricate and weld metal structures accurately
- Competency in basic mathematics for measurements and calculations
- Proficient in using a variety of hand tools for metalwork

Pay: £14.20-£17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 39 - 45 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
