- Managing purchase ledger activities
- Processing invoices accurately and timely
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Managing payment runs
- Dealing with supplier queries effectively
- Supporting the wider finance team as required
- Maintaining accurate records
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards

**The Successful Applicant**:
A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:

- Experience in a not for profit sector is desirable
- A strong understanding of purchase ledger processes
- Adequate knowledge of accounting software
- Good numerical and analytical abilities
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well within a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
