**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Shipping and Logistics Administrator**

Stolle Europe Limited - Kingstown Industrial Estate, CA3 OHA

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
You will be working for Stolle Europe. Stolle Machinery is the world’s leading supplier of two piece can and end-making machinery for the global can making industry. You will be based in our Carlisle facility within the Stolle Conveying Division.

As Shipping and Logistics Administrator you will provide direct support to the shipping and logistics team, also working closely with our conveying division arranging and planning shipments and providing general admin to the wider team as and when required.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assisting the shipping team and working with the conveying team to arrange and plan in shipments based on product availability and customer requests
- Tracking orders to ensure timely deliveries
- Preparing shipping documents (like invoices, purchase orders and bills of lading)
- Create detailed packing lists for conveying parts ready to ship
- To complete loading plans for conveying shipments to ensure efficient use of vehicle/container loading capacity.
- Liaise with customers, freight forwarders and agents to arrange collection of equipment in line with contractual terms.
- Provide regular updates on shipping status to internal teams
- Monitoring despatches from manufacturing facility to storage facility, organisation of specific storage locations plans
- Liaise with warehouse team to ensure container loading is completed to agreed loading plans.
- Assist with trailer/container loading activities and generate final layouts, and complete all documentation (i.e., CMR)
- Keep organised shipping records,
- Perform any other general administrative duties las required.

**WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED**:

- Must have excellent computer skills Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Effective communication skills - verbal and written.
- Previous Administration experience
- knowledge about freight and sea shipping regulations and practices advantage but not essential this can be learned on job.
