**Bolton Learner Support Talent Solutions (BLSTS) is looking to appoint experienced and dedicated Learning Support Workers to join our team.**

BLSTS is a subsidiary of the University of Bolton which is based at the Deane Road Campus of Bolton College. You will provide support to students in the teaching environment, on an individual or group basis, with guidance from the lecturing staff and the Senior Learning Support Worker. Level 2 qualifications in maths and English are essential as is evidence of job-related training.

You will ensure that individual support needs are met as directed by EHCP and Access Arrangements and you will promote confidence, motivate and provide guidance and encouragement to the students.

You will undertake training and continual updating for specific student needs as identified in individual Risk Assessments (such as first aid and administration of medications, behaviour management training and any other specialist training) prior to working with individual students.

We currently offer a permanent contract of up to 27.5 hours per week (5.5 hours per day) working on a term time only basis, but you would probably have the opportunity to extend these hours on a casual basis so flexibility is important.
