About you

**The role**

We are currently looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner within our site in Wavertree, Liverpool. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for the right person who is able to demonstrate their expertise within a Manufacturing environment. This role will work alongside the Head of Finance and will be responsible for providing analysis and review of the business, working closely with department heads to support cost control and to improve company financial performance.

This role is suited to an individual with at least 2 years managerial experience who is looking to make a real impact in an organisation.

**What will I be responsible for?**
- Overall responsibility for production costings, material costs, cash and balance sheet reporting with line management responsibilities.
- Finance lead for the business during the forecasting cycles and month end closing with areas of responsibility to include
- Production volumes & Recovery
- Material costs to include efficiency, wastage and price variances
- Logistics costings
- FX requirements & impact
- Balance Sheet & Cash forecasting
- Finance lead for new product innovation business cases
- Identification and management of risks and opportunities
- Line management and development of Junior Business Controller
- Preparation & Presentation of Monthly Management Reports to Plant Leadership team and Specialized Nutrition Operations team.
- Identification and development of key business KPI’s
- Working with departmental heads to identify and deliver on productivity and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Key point of contact for SN Operations & external auditors

**Experience**
- You must be CIMA, ACCA or equivalent qualified
- Previous experience in FMCG
- 2 years minimum managerial experience
- Excellent communicatino skills
- Agile thinking
- Advanced skills in Excel
