Stores Person

Our client based in Hoddesdon who is a major designer, manufacturer and global provider of cables and umbilicals for use in some of the planet’s most challenging and harsh environments.

They are looking for an experienced **Stores person** to work at their Hoddesdon site to assist with all stores related tasks and ensure continuous supply of materials to the shop floor, maintaining traceability throughout the manufacturing process.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Always maintain focus on health & safety.
- Physical issuing of required materials to Production.
- Ensure all goods received are checked upon arrival and physically labelled.
- Maintaining accurate Stock & WIP levels via accurate transactions.
- Assist with loading & unloading of vehicles in busy periods.
- Maintain tidiness and order of stores area.
- Cooperate with Production supervisors to discuss priorities and materials required for the coming shift.
- Assist with battening & packaging of drums to prepare for shipping during busy periods.
- Print and distribute pick lists daily, to allow issuing of materials as per weekly schedule.
- Data entry into computer system.
- Assist with stock adjustments when requested.
- Assist with weekly inventory cycle counts.
- Assist with monthly physical stock checks.
- Assist with material allocations when requested.

- Forklift experience min of 6 months Counterbalance.
- All training will be provided.
- Min of 1 Year working in similar role preferred.
- Computer literate.
- No qualifications needed for the role.
