Bligh Primary School are seeking a hard working and enthusiastic Business Admin Apprentice to provide effective and efficient administrative support to the wider school team.

**What will the apprentice be doing?**
- Establish and maintain good relationships with all students, parents/carers, colleagues, suppliers, contractors and other professions
- Undertake reception duties incliding the signing in/out of visitors to the school
- Welcome and recieve visitors/callers to the school
- Draft routine correspondences, i.e letters, memos as required
- Support the development and maintenance of administration systems and processess to support the work of the school
- To be responsible for monitoring levels of stationery and placing orders as required
- To support the organisation of school events, i.e training or inset days
- To provide general administrative support i.e word processing, photocopying, scanning, filing and collating reports

**What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?**
- Level 3 Business Administration standard qualification
- Understand legislation with regard to confidentiality, data protection and information sharing
- Employment Rights and Responsibilities
- Personal Learning and Thinking Skills

**Qualifications;**
- GCSE or equivalent English (Grade A*-C/9-4 or Level 2 equivalent) essential
- GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade A*-C/9-4 or Level 2 equivalent) essential

**What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?**

**Salary;**

£5.28 per hour, 39 - 40 weeks per year pro-rata salary

**Working week;**

Monday to Friday, shifts to be confirmed

30 hours a week
