Our client is a global engineering business with multiple sites in the North East. They are currently looking for a Service and Rentals Coordinator to join them on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Head of Projects, the Service and Rentals Coordinator is responsible for managing the provision of service engineering, rental products and warranty services to a global client base, meeting or exceeding the scope, cost and time parameters defined at the tender stage.

You will be joining their site based in Blyth.

**About the Service and Rentals Coordinator Role**

As Service & Rentals Coordinator, you will provide service engineering support to clients, provide warranty services to clients and provide fit for purpose rental products to clients. You will also review and maintain the rental fleet to ensure it remains appropriate for the business plan and produce progress reports and performance metrics.

Other duties will include:

- Assist with generation of technical proposals and quotes for service work scopes.
- Create service projects in IFS and ensure accurate project reporting.
- Manage service work scopes to ensure satisfactory completion within required timeframe and budget.
- Communicate with customers/suppliers to identify issues/resolutions and to clarify service requirements.
- Assist with generation of technical proposals and quotes for rentals work scopes.
- Create and implement the rental equipment test and maintenance schedule.
- Review and update the contents of the rental fleet on an annual basis to ensure it remains appropriate to meet the needs of the business plan.
- Ensure all business warranty responsibilities are addressed in a timely manner.

**About You**

As the Service & Rentals Coordinator, you will have the ability to work collaboratively across all functions of the company including sales, engineering, project management, supply chain, production, commissioning and supplier/quality assurance. You will also be Organised, analytical, self-motivated and professional.

Other requirements include:

- Experience in a service and/or warranty/guarantee role.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience of equipment-based engineering projects.
- HNC/HND in a related engineering discipline.
- Preference for prior knowledge of pipe lay, cable lay, subsea vehicle and/or marine equipment.
- Knowledge of project management process and planning skills using Microsoft Project.
- Proficient report writing and metric generation skills backed up by strong MS Office knowledge.
