This client is the UK leader in handling the most advanced form of sports risk, through its business to customer sports spread betting company, they have successfully leveraged its pricing and trading expertise to provide market-leading business to business solutions since 2004.

Our client is looking for Senior Performance Tester, as a member of the senior management team, you will be responsible to ensure overall quality of our Software deliveries. You will define Sporting's quality strategy encompassing the entire development lifecycle starting from the conception of a feature down to user acceptance testing, including performance.

**The ideal Senior Performance Tester will have experience in some or all the following** (full training will be provided to fill any gaps in your skills set):

- Minimum of 5 years' experience in test planning, test estimation, test strategy, test case design, test environment setup, and test data setup.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in performance testing with solid understanding of concepts like peak load testing, scalability testing and the importance of volume and concurrency when defining performance tests.
- Experience with relational databases, MySQL and how to optimize SQL queries.
- Experience with load testing tools and monitoring tools used to understand system behaviour during performance testing.
- Familiar with statistics; comfortable reading data and interpreting results.
- Familiar with AWS constructs and terminology.
- Experience using Java (or other OO language), XML, Spring.
- Experience with Linux system administration.
- Experience working with customers to understand their challenges/concerns and help coordinate UAT
- Drive performance test to be part of the development process, for example by implementing an automated performance test framework that teams can easily adapt using tools like JMeter and Loadrunner.
- Experience in implementing and driving non-functional tests, in particular performance tests.
- Demonstrated significant experience in manual testing, robust automation frameworks, especially Spock, ScalaTest, JUnit, TestNG or JBehave, Cypress, Selenium
- Familiarity with Java/GC/JVM
- Nodejs/Javascript
- Jmeter/LoadRunner
- Debuggers/profilers/analyser (VisualVM/JDK mission control/Memory analyser)
- Graphana/Kibana
- Unix

**The Senior Performance Tester position comes with the following benefits**:
