Data Analyst

**Data Analyst - 12-Month FTC - £35,000- Hybrid working (2x week, Office in Llantrisant)**

**The Opportunity**

Yolk Recruitment Public Sector & Not-for-Profit team has partnered with a large public sector organisation to recruit a Data Analyst to join their team.

The organisation is an international company with strong UK heritage. Your role will be to support the data architecture and design of the analytics and insight architecture for the company and drive the data strategy for supporting customer and businessinsight.

**What the Data Analyst will be doing**
- Defining, collating, requirement gathering, and analysing data to support the design of data repositories and analytical warehouses.
- Supporting the data architecture and design of the analytics and insight architecture for the company
- Driving the data strategy for supporting customer and business insight
- Promoting an ethos of data-informed decision making throughout the business
- Delivering a Data & Analytics strategy encompassing strong governance, agility of engineering and advanced analytical approaches

**What the successful Data Analyst will bring to the team**
- Previous Data Analyst experience with technical skills such as PowerBI, Power Query, DAX, and advanced Excel capability
- Experience with AX or other ERP platforms
- Strong working knowledge of different design approaches such as Inmon Corporate Data Model, Kimball Dimensional Modelling and Datavault 2.0
- Working knowledge of a variety of database architectures, especially SQL Server
