Our client is looking for an experienced RICS Chartered surveyor to assist with disposals, valuations and estate matters. Please note that this is a 1-year temporary contract with the potential to go permanent.

**What are the day-to-day responsibilities of the role**:

- Undertaking land assembly negotiations through to acquisition to secure access to land for major development and highway related schemes.
- Lead and project manage a variety of asset valuation, development, acquisition and estate programmes.
- Managing planning appeals, hearings and inquiries.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- RICS Registered Valuer.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Extensive experience of Local Authority Asset Valuations (including educational establishments) in accordance with IFRS and RICS is desirable.

**Salary**: £230.15 per day
