**Key Responsibilities**:
As a Relief Animal Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of our animal residents. Your main responsibilities will include:

- Undertaking comprehensive care for all animals, encompassing health checks, preventative treatments, feeding, accommodation maintenance, exercise routines, enrichment activities, and grooming.
- Administering all necessary administrative duties associated with animal care, such as maintaining health and welfare records, conducting stocktaking of supplies and equipment, and ensuring compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborating effectively with team members, attending meetings, and actively contributing to quality assurance systems and procedures, including participating in reviews and evaluations.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Previous experience in animal care or related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for animal welfare.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.

**Join Us Today**:
The role is permanent, variable hours mainly weekend work for the animal care unit. The team will work on a designated rota basis, hours will be either a full day from 8:30am -5pm or half day 8:30am - 12:30pm. Occasionally required to cover during the week for staff who are on annual leave / staff absences.
