Currently recruiting for a Qualification Technician for a leading materials manufacturer based in the Cambridgeshire area. As a Qualification Technician you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of laboratory work including the physical and mechanicaltesting of materials. As a Qualification Technician you will also be responsible for the compiling test data into reports and ensuring that the laboratory and equipment are kept to a high standard, also ensuring that the relevant health and safety requirementsare met and maintained.

This role will operate on a split shift of 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm rotating weekly.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Carry out various laboratory work including specimen fabrication.
- Conduct various physical and mechanical testing of materials.
- Compile test data into reports which will assist in any customer queries.
- Ensure the laboratory is maintained to a high standard.
- Ensure all the relevant health and safety requirements are met and maintained.

**Knowledge and Experience**
- Industrial experience carrying out physical and mechanical testing of materials.
- HNC/BSc level education within Materials Science/Mechanical Engineer/Materials Engineering would be desirable, however someone with relevant industrial experience without this would still be considered.
- High attention to detail, with a good level of verbal and written communication essential.
