**Service Delivery Coordinator - Patient Care and Clinical Support**

**Contract: Fixed Term Contract Until 22nd November 2024**
**Salary: £23,431 per annum pro rata**

**_ We have a fantastic opportunity to join the British Red Cross Patient Care & Clinical Support Team._**

We have a fleet of approximately 100 vehicles of varying specifications across the UK and we are constantly reviewing these to ensure that they are current and meet the requirements of our services and service users. Our fleet and equipment is comparable with those deployed by NHS services and we have recently introduced bariatric patient transport capability in some areas.

**A day in the life of a Service Delivery Coordinator will include**:

- Co-ordinating a designated number of Patient Transport & Clinical Care Assistants.
- Enabling and provide support to the staff and volunteers involved in delivering high quality care to patients, in partnership with the NHS Trust.
- Responsibility to provide administrative and practical support to the Patient Transport & Clinical Care Assistants in support of the Service Delivery Manager.
- Day-to-day operation and deployment of the Red Cross vehicles and Ambulance Care Assistants.
- Ensuring that all operational ambulances are maintained at the highest standards.
- **To be a successful Service Delivery Coordinator, you’ll need**:

- Full UK manual driving licence.
- Knowledge of staff and/or volunteer supervision.
- Ability to work on own initiative or under instruction from others.
- Organisational skills - planning and monitoring own workload.
- Knowledge of clinical standards and infection control regarding quality standards.
- Previous experience in a similar role highly desirable.
- Experience of delivering high quality services to the public within a regulated framework e.g., CQC.
