**About the role**
Balfour Beatty have an exciting opportunity for a **Senior HR Business Partner** to join our growing team in **London**

As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will be a trusted advisor to the Balfour Beatty Investments UK leadership team, with responsibility for developing the people plan and ensuring the organisation has the right talent, culture and people initiatives in place to achieve its goals

**What you'll be doing**
As a **Senior HRBP**, you will have the following accountabilities:

- Act as a strategic partner to the Investments leadership team, providing expert guidance on all HR-related matters and aligning HR initiatives with business goals.
- Collaborate with the business to identify and address current and future skills & talent needs, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, talent development and succession planning.
- Support the integration of the new Urban Fox business into BBI and drive all people related activities to support their growth.
- Collaborate with the Learning and Development team to identify training needs, develop training programmes and support employee development initiatives.
- Lead and manage the performance management process to drive a high-performance culture, ensuring that performance goals and metrics are aligned with business objectives and that employees receive regular feedback and coaching.
- Drive employee engagement and EDI initiatives, fostering a positive and inclusive working environment that aligns with the company values.
- Provide leadership and guidance on employee relations matters and partner with the employee relations team to resolve all issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Analyse HR data and metrics to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement, providing recommendations to the leadership team to drive performance improvements.
- Stay updated on HR best practices, industry trends, and legal requirements to ensure compliance with employment law and regulations

**Who we're looking for**
You will have the following:

- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or a similar strategic HR role
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into effective HR initiatives.
- Proven experience of building effective stakeholder relationships at all
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a data-driven and analytical approach.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Experience in driving organisational change and managing complex employee relations situations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations
