**Barley Lane is a popular 4 form entry primary school serving a diverse local community. **We are seeking to appoint a practical and well-motivated person for the post of Assistant Caretaker to join our team of committed staff. We are very proud of our building so we especially want someone who will really care for our school. Your will assist the Site Manager with the responsibility of the building, health and safety, grounds and security.**

***The Assistant Caretakers duties will include:
- General Caretaking duties
- Maintenance of outdoor areas (including playground areas): sweeping, weeding, cleaning
- Manual work
- Occasional heavy lifting
- DIY and basic onsite repairs
- Security of the site
- Understanding of Health & Safety
