Overview

greenwellgleeson are recruiting a Finance Assistant for an Established Company based in Kenilworth. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well-established company who offer a Friendly and happy working environment.

Role Responsibilities will include
- Initially, analysing older accounts receivable to bring them up to date.
- Chasing a selection of debts through to payment.
- Daily input of customer cash receipts onto SAGE and reconciliation to the RBS Bank system.
- Issue of monthly customer statements.
- Ensuring daily interface between systems is completed.
- Month end reconciliations between systems
- Reviewing and reporting on weekly cash receipts vs target receipts
- Assist with purchase ledger input as needed.
- Creation/input of customer credit notes, once approved.
- Monthly supplier statement reconciliations
- Other ad-hoc duties as and when required
- Previous working knowledge of Purchase Ledger/Accounts payable
- Good admin skills
- Some accounts/credit control experience an advantage, but not essential. On the job training will be provided
- Experience of ERP and accounting systems an advantage
- Good Microsoft skills, especially Excel
- Happy team player, but also able to work on own initiative.
- Strong work ethic - disciplined, organised and methodical
- Able to work to deadlines
- Good communication and time management skills
