CNC Programmer

Interaction Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced CNC Programmer / Punch Operator on behalf of their busy near Croydon. This is a full-time permanent role and a great opportunity to join an experienced team as well as a business that offers great rewards & benefits.

**Salary**: £28k to £30k per annum (dependant on experience) + bonuses

**Working hours**: Monday to Thursday: 8am-4.30; Friday 8am-3.30pm

**This role involves**:

- Maintain safe and clean working environment
- Develop, test and issue CAD/CAM programmes to operate CNC machines that punch our sheet-metal products
- Set-up and operate the CNC machines
- Support with design and development of bespoke and new products
- Support with improving product quality and precision within manufacturing
- Work closely with your team and Supervisor to keep on track and address issues

**To be considered for this role you must have / be**:

- Minimum 1-3 years in a building products manufacturing and metal fabrication environment
- Experience of CAD/CAM programming of CNC sheet metal punching machines, particularly using Radan
- Experience of reading and creating technical drawings
- Professional, well-organised and proactive member of the team
- Focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- Flexible and ambitious to develop your skills and knowledge
- Experience of 3D modelling would be useful
