- Salary: £28,000 to £ 38,810 (In line with your current pay scale)

Academics have been approached by a Grammar School in Ramsgate who are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Biology to cover a maternity leave. The successful applicant will be able to teach general Science at Key Stage 3 and specialise in Biology across KeyStage 4 & 5. This is a high achieving Grammar School where the students have an outstanding attitude to learning.

The school are looking for someone who:

- Has relevant experience of teaching science and in particular Biology in a secondary school setting.
- Is a "Good" teacher who can establish good relationships with, motivate and inspire young people and who shows the potential and commitment to become and outstanding teacher
- Has good interpersonal skills, the ability to empathise with young people and build positive relationships with students and colleagues
- Is a flexible and perceptive classroom practitioner who can engage students across the age and ability range and enable all to learn, enjoy and make progress
- Has a commitment to personal, professional development and becoming the best you can be.
