Food Technologist

Job Summary:
A technically competent and enthusiastic food technologist is required for a varied role within a soft drinks production environment.

General duties:

- Assisting in revising and upgrading food safety and production procedures.
- Managing the Quality Control System.
- Formulating and optimizing recipes.
- Assisting in production when required.
- Covering general office duties as and when required.

Person Specification:

- **Strong Academic Qualifications**:

- **Competent** in generating procedural instructions and guidelines.
- **Knowledgeable **about BRC Food Safety Standards, or capable of and willing to learn**.**
- **Knowledgeable **about-spoilage in soft drinks and prevention measures.
- **Teamwork**: Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently.
- **Enthusiasm**: Enthusiasm, flexibility, and a positive can-do attitude is essential.
- **Hygiene & Food Safety**:Maintenance of a clean and tidy working environment. Excellent personal hygiene is essential.
- **Experience**:Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential.

**Salary: Is dependent on experience**

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
