Gromit Unleashed, the retail arm of Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal, The Bristol Children's Hospital Charity, is recruiting for a new retail supervisor.

Based in our flagship shop at The Mall at Cribbs Causeway, the successful applicant will be responsible for supervising day-to-day activity on the shop floor and distributing tasks to the junior retail team members. You will be a brand ambassador for the Gromit Unleashed Shop and associated activities and have a proactive and positive approach to work.

The Mall Cribbs Causeway offers free parking and numerous shopping and dining opportunities (with mall staff discounts and special offers across many stores). We are a small friendly, and welcoming team and offer our team members a staff discount. Work with us and get experience supporting a wide range of retail and fundraising activities. What's more, all our profits support the work of Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal, The Bristol Children's Hospital Charity. **Key responsibilities**:
Supervise junior retail staff and ensure that all tasks and responsibilities, both those expected of our retail assistants as standard (set out in the retail handbook) and any additional necessary work as directed by your manager, are carried out to a high standard.
- Encourage excellent customer service from other retail staff on your shift
- Ensure that the performance of other retail team members is in accordance with the expectations set out in the organisation and retail handbook
- Report any concerns about the shop, staff or related matters to the Shop ManagerEnsure that the shop floor, all products and point of sale assets are presented to the highest possible standard

All shop and exhibit areas must be clean, presentable and safe
- Stock replenished as appropriate
- Maintain Product display standards (including windows)

Act in good faith as a brand ambassador for Gromit Unleashed and Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal
- Provide consistent and exemplary customer service consistent with the brand ethos
- Lead other team members by maintaining a professional, positive and energetic attitude whilst at work and when discussing matters related to the shop and wider organisation.

Assist with additional tasks when requested by management, including but not limited to the below
- Processing and recording of deliveries arriving at the shop
- Fulfilment of online orders, including packaging, labelling and recording data, where required
- Assist with stock management and monthly/annual stock take as required
- Track and record trends in customers and their aspirations

Advanced cash handling and key holding responsibilities
- As a trusted site keyholder and an individual responsible for secure and accurate income reporting, the highest level of professionalism is expected.

**Shop opening hours**:
Monday-Friday 09:30-20:00; Saturday 09:00-20:00; Sunday 11:00-17:00. (Subject to change)
