Case Worker

Our client is looking for an experienced Case worker or similar experience to join their South Essex Hub, based in Benfleet.

**Job Type**:Full-time (Mon-Fri), some evening work

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

**Case worker Duties**:

- provide appropriate advice and support for adults living with acquired brain injury (ABI) across the South and West Essex area, enabling them to fulfil their potential.
- provide support for carers living with people with ABI to enable them to cope with their caring role.
- promote Headway's services and increase understanding of the causes and effects of brain injury within the wider community.
- Plan and run educational support group meetings

An understanding of brain injury is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

**Case worker Requirements**:

- a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for conducting HW business
- the right to work in the UK
- Two references and enhanced DBS check satisfactory to us
- an understanding of safeguarding and lone working.
