Role: Buyer - FMCG

Location: North Wales / Remote / Hybrid

**Salary**: £45-50k plus benefits

We are currently looking to find a talented Raw Materials (ingredients) buyer for a growing FMCG business.

You will take pleasure is sourcing raw materials, managing suppliers, negotiating prices, terms of purchase and obviously ensure all materials arrive on time & in good condition ready for production. You will also get involved in QC from time to time, inspectingincoming materials to ensure they meet quality standards.

Reviewing samples, approving suppliers, market trends, developing strategies to source raw materials that are cost effective.

Conversant with retailer codes of practice and policies would be advantageous - Tesco, Sainsburys, Co-op, Aldi, Asda, Morrisons, Iceland, Lidl, Bidfood and Premier / Cadbury.

Bakery experience preferred, but food industry essential.
