A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a **Fabricator / Welder **to be based at our head office in Yate.

Reporting to our Workshop Manager, the **Fabricator / Welder** will be responsible for:

- The fabrication of structural steelwork.
- Stick / Mig welding.
- Setting up welding machines based on the job in hand or using a Welding Procedure specification.
- Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings to determine the specific welding requirements.
- Ensuring that work is done safely and meets all quality standards.
- Providing a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
- Follow all safety rules and quality standards.

To be considered for this role you should demonstrate:

- The ability to identify and measure material.
- The ability to produce quality products consistently and on time to meet the company's deadlines.
- The ability to follow instructions given both verbally and in written form.
- Knowledge of machine and tools.
- The ability to read fabrication drawings, callipers, tape measures and angle gauges.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.

This position is 40 hours per week, 8:00 - 4:30, Monday to Friday.
