**Position Overview**:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organised Booking Coordinator to join our team at Space Dental. The Booking Coordinator will play a vital role in managing patient appointments, ensuring smooth scheduling, and enhancing the overall patient experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:
2. Coordinate appointments for patients, taking into account dentist availability and patient preferences.

3. Confirm appointments with patients, providing necessary information and addressing any inquiries or concerns.

4. Maintain accurate records of patient bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling activities.

5. Collaborate with dental professionals and staff to optimise appointment scheduling and patient flow.

6. Utilise booking software or systems to streamline scheduling processes and improve efficiency.

7. Assist in resolving scheduling conflicts or issues to minimise disruptions and maximise patient satisfaction.

8. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the booking process, demonstrating professionalism and empathy.

9. Contribute to the development and implementation of booking policies and procedures to enhance overall effectiveness.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the dental or healthcare industry.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-centric approach.
- Proficiency in using booking software or CRM systems.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenges or conflicts calmly and efficiently.

Supplemental pay types:

**Education**:

- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Wakefield, West Yorkshire (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Wakefield, West Yorkshire: Relocate before starting work (required)
