Due to continued growth and performance, the business is looking to hire a Production Planner.

**Why we have this job**:
This is a key role within the supply chain team and is wide ranging and covers, delivering a production plan that is achievable taking into consideration material, manpower and machine availability to meet customer requirements along with being a part of and supporting the wider supply chain team.

**You will be responsible for (but not limited to)**:

- Creating and communicating an achievable production plan/forecast using an ERP and Excel systems to meet customer requirements.
- Revising these plans with pace when required.
- Assist with the purchasing of materials.
- Monitor and maintain finished goods inventory levels for manufactured items.
- Working alongside the wider supply chain team to deliver on time and in full, right first-time products to our customers.
- Assist in the drive to maximise profitability, reduce waste and develop and deliver continuous improvement strategies for manufacturing.
- Assisting in maintaining data integrity in the MRP system and the Bill of Materials.
- Identify risks and proactively look to minimise or eradicate these and help identify the root causes.
- Clear and concise internal communications.

**About You**:

- There is a lot to be done so you will need to have experience in a similar role.
- It is desirable to have experience of LEAN manufacturing principles ideally gained within a small batch fast paced environment.
- A self-starter with a can-do approach with the ability to act on your own initiative.
- We are a fast based business therefore you need to be able to act with pace.
- Having an eye for detail whilst also possessing the ability to see and influence the bigger picture.
- Strong use of Microsoft Office.

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£33,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- A-Level or equivalent (required)
