The Role
The main focus of the role is to create visuals and videos for the social media channels. From creating graphics, to taking pictures of our products and to being comfortable with shooting and editing video, with a remit for driving productivity and quality through all aspects of production, asset management approvals and delivery of final materials. The role also requires you to go in to the practices to film and take photos of staff members/practices for content.
Developing social media content calendars (grid and copy) and planning social media strategy across existing and new social media channels
Lead resources in delivery of all content including editorial, audio visual and photography requirements.
Copywriting skills a plus, as this person will also be supporting the social media team where needed.
Maintain our content projects, leading on the creation and management of an agreed programme of assets including video, interactive materials etc.
Key Skills Required
- A highly creative individual with proven experience in content development, potentially from within an agency environment. Strong creative design skills
- Fluent in Editorial software's for content creation.
- Fluent in social media, trends and types of content for social channels
- Excellent art working and retouching skills
- Fluent in shooting videos and editing
- Taking projects from initial layout through final artwork to proof checking and approval
- Social media copywriting
- Social media strategy
- Knowledge of how to maximise audience engagement, build online communities and acquire new customers
- Support community management and customer queries via social media
- Responsible for the producing and managing content on social media channels
- Managing influencer marketing campaigns
- Monthly reporting of results to the wider team plus reporting of social campaigns
- Organising product gifting
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Proof-reading skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Experience commissioning & editing content
- Ability to develop close working relationships and work collaboratively both internally and with agency partners
- Experience in delivering creative excellence against content and campaign briefs, audience reach targets and brand objectives.
- Strong copywriter, ideally with skills in other creative areas, eg photography, graphic design etc.
- Best in class photoshop, video editing and graphic design skills
- Worked with user experience to propose new design to improve customer experience
- Comfortable working within a small team in a fast-paced environment
Essential
- 2+ year’s experience interacting within online communities, actively participating on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.
- Professional, team player who is passionate about all things social
- Proven experience of content creation for social media
- Proven ability to articulate strategy based on audience research and intuition
- Uses social analytics to make clear recommendations on content and strategy
- A first class (social media) copywriter with a strong visual eye and a creative mind
- Works with creative team members on developing content, but also able to produce content without assistance from this team
- Proven record of managing social media within a fast-paced e-commerce/retail environment
- Organised and able to manage all sorts of content, including rights management
- A team player
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Finger on the pulse’ of social trends and knows how to capitalise on them
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
**Salary**: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
