Dispensary Assistant

We are looking for a part time Dispensary Assistant to join our team in our Thornhill Road branch in Halesowen.

The hours for this role are for 16 hours per week. The working days will be Thursday 9am to 1.30pm, Friday 9am to 6.15pm and Saturdays 9am to 1pm (1 in 2).

The role will include:

- Carry out dispensing duties under the supervision of the Pharmacist manager
- Ensure all prescriptions are dispensed accurately and in a timely manner
- Respond appropriately to customer needs, politely and efficiently, by asking appropriate questions, following the Standard Operating Procedures for Sale of Medicines and Supporting Self-care.
- To maintain the pharmacy to a high standard.
- To monitor stock levels and adapt orders appropriately.
- Have previous community pharmacy dispensing experience and ideally be qualified to NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services
- Be able to deliver excellent customer service and work as part of a team

Salary for all positions is dependent on previous experience.
