**Wilson of Kendal** are looking for a Trainee Transport Planner to assist our existing team.

This is a varied roll, with duties to include;
- Checking vehicle locations,
- Managing driver performances,
- Checking paperwork.
- Helping to control the fleet.
- Updating the computerized daily plan
- Liaising with drivers
- General day to day duties

You will need to be computer literate.

As this is a demanding role, you need to be able to cope with pressure, as well as working as part of a team.

Experience is not essential as training will be provided in house.

We work 7 days a week and so **once Fully Trained**, you will be required to support the team with weekend coverage.

The working week is Monday - Friday with a flexible approach.

Preferred level of education to GCSE grade C and above in Maths & English (or equivalent)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £25,000.00 per year
