As a
**Food Production Assistant** for
**Sodexo **in
**Chesterfield Royal Hospital,** you'll be passionate about food and dietary needs, as well as exceptional customer service; your interactions with patients, employees, and visitors can help to reduce some of the tension that is frequently associated with hospitals. **What you’ll do**:

- Assist with the preparation and cooking of dishes
- Serving and portioning food according to the necessary standards
- Focused approach to preparing specialist diet meals ensuring they meet patients’ requirements
- Ensure work areas and equipment are kept clean and tidy
- Work collaboratively with other members of the team to ensure service runs smoothly.
- Comply with all Company and hospital policies and procedures.

**What you bring**:

- Basic food-handling skills are desirable, but not essential if you are willing to learn.
- Previous kitchen experience
- Great communication skills
- A positive attitude
- Willing to learn new skills e.g., Health & Safety, Health & Hygiene, Food Safety
