We’re looking for a **CDM Advisor/ Principal Designer** to join our team based in either Norwich or Lincoln.

**Location**: Can be based in either Norwich or Lincoln, with hybrid working

**Contract**: Permanent
- full time, part time/ flexible hours may be available if desired just let us know and we’ll do our best to support you

**Responsibilities**

Kier Utilities brings the built environment to life, keeping people and business connected.

In this role, you will be working on our Anglian Water Alliance, where we work on maintaining, repairing, and upgrading the water network.

As CDM Advisor, you will be providing and modifying Design for Construction teams, Contractors and the Client. You will need to be able to understand issues in any part of the water sector asset base and be able to collaborate to clearly communicate a workable outcome for others to construct.

Your day to day will include:

- Research and discover problems, develop insight and then provide a focused definition
- Take account of any pre-construction information, eliminate foreseeable health and safety risks to anyone affected by the project and take steps to reduce or control any risks that cannot be eliminated

This role of CDM Advisor/ Principal Designer is great for you if you hold:

- A Degree in relevant technical field and membership of relevant professional body
- Experience as a Designer in the construction/ water industry
- A Full Driving Licence
