We have an exciting opportunity for a well organised and self-motivated **Sports Facilities Assistant** to join the East Durham College Team on a FULLTIME, FIXED TERM basis.

**Main Duties of the Role**:
**Essential Requirement**:

- Level 2 Gym Instructor Qualification
- Significant Experience of working in a sports centre environment
- Reception / Customer service experience
- Experience of working within a team
- Significant experience of delivering fitness classes
- Has own knowledge and experience of the use of fitness equipment
- Ability to deal with people at all levels in a calm efficient manner
- Excellent communication skills
- An understanding of Microsoft office packages
- Can demonstrate a positive attitude to the achievement of equal opportunities for all
- Suitability to work with children and/or vulnerable adults
- Flexibility to work weekends at short notice.
- Enthusiastic, resourceful, well organised and can manage time efficiently
